Description

First of all airbrick are designed to provide high levels of ventilation into cavity walls and underfloor voids. – 6,450mm² of airflow per 9 x 3 airbrick.
Furthermore incorporates a front mounted grille with water deflectors.
Also can be stacked together to create 9 x 6 and 9 x 9 combinations.
A mortar key around the edge of the airbrick ensures it can be securely fixed to the building fabric and a clip together facility provides a choice of ventilation sizes.
The product is suitable for use with gas appliances.

Installation

The airbrick should be built into the brick course as per normal practice. Although care should be taken to keep the airflow passage clear from mortar droppings.
To be used in conjunction with other products from our Building Vent range. In order to provide a complete through wall ventilation system.
If the cavity has been bridged, a suitable cavity tray should be fitted over the airbrick if above the DPC.
